Hey there, I’m Lauren!

Welcome to Plateable! A blog focused on simple recipes, colorful food and photography!

I am a Seattle-based food photographer finally taking the leap to start a blog, something I’ve wanted to do for a couple of years now. I fell in love with natural light food photography my junior year of college while I was studying to receive my bachelors of photography in Indiana and have been hooked ever since! I’m hoping that through this blog I can share everything I love about food, color and photography with you!
