Grandma’s Famous Orange Drop Cookies

I figured it was about time that I brought back my all time favorite desert to share with you all. If you know me personally you won’t be surprised to know that even though theses are my favorite cookies in the world – this is only my second time making them over the past 3 years.

You see, these cookies stole the spotlight at my senior art exhibit in college. Over the course of around 5 months, I baked, stylized and wrote a simple dessert guide full of my grandmother’s favorite recipes.

To accompany my desert guide I had printed out 3×5′ ft photographs of some of these deserts – one of which was the orange drop cookies. AND I also happened to bake, with the help of my amazing roommates and friends, 900 of my favorite cookies for people to sample. Even through I was exhausted from all the running around, I loved seeing the conversation that broke out around my table of cookies. Food brings us together is such a unique way and I will always remember that moment! I’m finally back from my hiatus of baking these highly addictive, wonderful cookies from heaven and here is how you can make them yourself!! I promise they will be the talk of the town at your next gathering!!
